Odsherred Fire Museum
The Odsherred Brandmuseum (German: Fire Brigade Museum Odsherred ) is a fire brigade museum in Asnæs in the Danish municipality of Odsherred . It is the largest museum of its kind on the island of Zealand .
The museum is housed in a hall in an industrial park in the eastern part of Asnæs. More than 20 historic fire engines from the period from 1864 to 1970 are exhibited on an area of more than 1,000 m² . One focus of the exhibition is the local fire service history and the history of fire protection in Denmark. There are also special exhibitions and demonstrations of the vehicles on display. There is also a thematic library in the museum.
