Oelkers shipyard
The Oelkers shipyard is a former German shipyard and was considered a traditional Hamburg company. It was founded in 1876 by Johann Oelkers .
At peak times it employed 220 people. In 1991 the yard area was 25,000 m². The shipyard finally went bankrupt in 1991 .
