Offshore Racing Congress

The Offshore Racing Congress (ORC) is an international organization for the promotion of high seas - sailing .

The ORC defines a procedure for measuring regatta yachts on which various boat classes are based. The International Measurement System (IMS) offers time calculations based on hydrodynamic computer models . The IMS is maintained in conjunction with the United States Sailing Association .
