Oliver Freund (basketball official)

Oliver Freund is an Austrian basketball official . He is the managing director and chairman of the Bundesliga club Kapfenberg Bulls .

career

In the fall of 2014, Freund joined the board of the Bundesliga basketball team Kapfenberg Bulls and took on the areas of public relations, infrastructure and finance. He then became the managing director of the operating company bulls Kapfenberg GmbH and chairman of the Bulls. In September 2015, Freund also became Vice President of the Styrian Basketball Association and Vice President and Financial Officer of the Austrian Basketball Association (ÖBV). At the end of March 2019, he resigned from the board of the ÖBV.
