Oliver Kreutzfeldt (born October 1968 in Windhoek ) is a former German American football player.

career

Kreutzfeldt played for the Norderstedt Chiefs before joining the Hamburg Blue Devils in 1992 . He was part of the team until 1998, after having submitted his resignation in 1997 and won the German championship (1996) and the Eurobowl (1996, 1997 and 1998) with the Hamburg team . Due to the great competition in his quarterback position, especially from players from North America, he often remained a substitute for the devils, although for years he was considered the best German playmaker. In 1993 he was appointed to the German national football team, but had to cancel due to an injury.

In the 1999 season, the 1.80 meter tall Kreutzfeldt, who was also a talented tennis player, played for the Hamburg Wild Huskies in the highest German Bundesliga. In the summer of 2000, Kreutzfeldt, who worked as a police officer, retired from competitive sports at the age of 32.
