The Olmo Group , consisting of Olmo Giuseppe SpA , Artimino SpA , Toscana Gomma SpA and Giuseppe Olmo SpA, is an Italian bicycle manufacturer .
history
The first Olmo Manufactory was founded in 1939 by the brothers Giuseppe , Franco, Giovanni and Michele Olmo in Celle Ligure . Since then, the company has expanded into other business areas and since then has been manufacturing not only bicycles but also plastics for shoes, automobiles, furniture and for thermal insulation.
One of the brothers, Giuseppe Olmo, held the world hour record from October 1935 to October 1936. He won gold at the 1932 Olympics as part of the Italian cycling team.
