The Olympia Zeitung was the official newspaper of the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin and was published by the Reichssportverlag .

The newspaper appeared daily in four languages from July 21 to August 19, 1936. The circulation was between 350,000 and 500,000 copies. Initially the scope was fixed at 16 pages. But it increased to 24 pages during the games. The price of a newspaper was 20 pfennigs. The subtitle was Official Organ of the Xl. 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin .
Editors
The chief editor was Fred Krüger . In addition to Krüger, the editorial team included Manfred Hausmann , Rudolf Binneboese , Joachim Fernau , Carl Borro Schwerla , Heinrich Peter Tillenburg and Ernst Nebhut , who were responsible for reporting in accordance with the regime .
