from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Olympus Alpine Biblioteca , founded in 2010, contains works dealing with Mount Olympus in Greece . The aim is to compile as complete a collection as possible of all published books and texts and, if possible, to make them available for download. The listing is made chronologically according to the date of publication and goes back to the year 1776.

More than 300 books, e-books and PDF are listed, some of which, especially older ones, are no longer in stores. It is noteworthy that most of the titles published in the 19th century are downloadable. These include classics such as "Travels in northern Greek (1835)" by William M. Leake or "Le Mont Olympe et L 'Acarnanie (1860)" by Léon Heuzey .

Almost half of the works published in the 20th and 21st centuries can be saved for private use. Currently, titles are recorded in Greek, English, German, French and Italian. The downloads are free. The topics include:

  • archeology
  • Rockclimbing
  • fauna
  • flora
