Omar Franco is a Cuban actor.

Franco completed an engineering degree at the Instituto Superior Politécnico "José A. Echeverría" . There he founded the Los Hepáticos theater group , which was also joined by Carlos Vázquez (known as Riquimbili ) and Nelson Téllez . For fifteen years he appeared on the side of Iván Camejo in the group Humoris Causa . He began his theater career with a role in Ignacio Gutiérrez 'play Llévame a la pelota , for which he was named best male amateur actor. Santa Camila was the first in a series of plays directed by Armando Suárez del Villar . In 2004 he received a Premio Caricato for the role of Pepe in Penumbra . He has not appeared in the theater since 2007.
