The One Station is a handheld console from the Chinese manufacturer Jungletac and was released in 2006 . Its design is reminiscent of the Game Boy Micro from Nintendo . After mostly copies of the popular game consoles were published on the Chinese market in the past, this is one of the first in-house developments from China . In the meantime, however, game modules from other manufacturers are available that contain copied and therefore unlicensed NES games.

It is noteworthy that the handheld console only contains hardware for the display and buttons. Processor, RAM and flash memory are housed on the respective module . This has the advantage that the development of new applications is not restricted to the installed components. So far, an adapter has been released with which Mega Drive games can be used on the handheld console .

In addition to the games, Jungletac announced that it will offer the following hardware:

  • Adapter for SD cards
  • Picture viewer
  • Digital camera
  • Digital TV
  • E-book reader
  • GPS
  • MP3 player
  • Video module
