Onrail

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

onrail was an Austrian travel magazine focusing on travel, culture, enjoyment and love of life. It was a company magazine of the Austrian Federal Railways and was available on their trains, lounges and sales outlets. The name “onrail” was chosen after a relaunch in 2011. The previous name was "Eurocity".

The publisher was Bohmann Druck & Verlag GmbH. The editorial office was based in Vienna. It appeared bimonthly with a circulation of 85,000 and reached 329,000 readers, which corresponded to a reach of 5.7 percent.

In spring 2016 the ÖBB terminated the contract and discontinued the magazine. The online specialist portal "Travelbusiness" reported that, according to information from the publisher, the product is being restarted under the name "Gute Reise" with ÖBB competitor Westbahn.
