The Oostpoort in the Dutch university city of Delft is the only one of Delft's five city gates that has been preserved. It is a listed building and is one of the Rijksmonumenten .

The Oostpoort was built around 1400 as a lightly built gate that was subordinate to the city's defense. The ground floor is designed as a single room, from where it was possible to observe the surroundings via hatches and shoot through loopholes. In the room there is a staircase that led in the stair tower to the battlement of the originally adjoining city wall. There was a guard room there. The gate has land and water access, which are connected by the remains of a city wall. The water gate has a passage opening that could be closed with bars.

The towers were raised by one storey in 1514 and given the elongated point.

From 1962 to 1964 the gate was completely restored and provided with two small studio apartments, which were joined together to form one apartment in 1988. The battlement has since been used as an exhibition space in an art gallery.

The other city gates of Delft were the Rotterdamse, the Schiedamse, the Waterslootse and the Haagpoort. In Vermeer picture View of Delft are two of the previous goals, the Rotterdamse and Schiedamse Poort mapped.
