An orchidometer , also called orchiometer, is a medical instrument used to determine the volume of human testicles . The orchidometer was introduced in 1955 by the endocrinologist Andrea Prader of the University of Zurich. It consists of a chain with twelve numbered beads made of wood or plastic with different volumes in ascending order from 1 to 25 milliliters.
