Orodes II (Elymais)

Orodes II (Aramaic: URUD) was a ruler of the Elymais , best known for his coins. His coins bear Aramaic legends and call him a king and son of a Orodes, probably from Orodes I . The ruler is usually represented frontally on his coins. They are not dated, but for stylistic reasons they are classified in the second century AD.
