Oropharynx

The oropharynx (from Latin Os = mouth, pharynx = throat) is understood in anatomy

  • the mouth part of the throat ( pars oralis pharyngis ) in mammals, see throat
  • the union of the oral and pharyngeal cavities due to the lack of a soft palate, see Oropharynx (Vogel) .
