Orthagnes
Orthagnes was an Indo-Parthian king who ruled around AD 70.
Orthagnes is primarily known from coins that were minted in Kandahar . He is referred to as Gondophares on the coins . The name of the latter ruler became a ruler title after his death. A word with the ending Gadana or Gudana (brother of Gad ) in Kharoshti appears on the back of the coins . The meaning is unknown. His son and successor was Ubouzanes .
