Osamu Furuya
Osamu Furuya ( Japanese 古谷 伸 , Furuya Osamu ) is a former Japanese cameraman.
Life
From 1961 up to and including 1995 he was involved in around 30 film productions as a cameraman. In 1970 he was part of the Tora camera team ! Torah! Torah! and was nominated for the Oscar in the category Best Cinematography with his colleagues Shinsaku Himeda , Masamichi Satoh and Charles F. Wheeler . There was also a nomination for the Laurel Award .
