Ostwald double cone

The Ostwald double cone is a color system based on the theory of harmony developed by Nobel Prize winner Wilhelm Ostwald .

He was fascinated by how exactly a subjective, perceptual judgment about a color can be and on this basis developed his color system in the form of a double cone. Ostwald's double cones can be seen today in Wilhelm-Ostwald-Park .
