Oscillatory neural networks are functionally phenomenologically defined associations of neurons due to excitation patterns oscillating between neurons. Oscillating neural networks occur in the human brain particularly in the area of perception . They are characterized by quick adaptability to dynamic systems and do not require long-term training. Models of oscillating neural networks are used, for example, in language processing.
