Otto Götzl

Otto Götzl (born November 4, 1886 in Ferschnitz , † November 20, 1960 in Amstetten ) was an Austrian businessman and politician ( ÖVP ). Götzl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1945 to 1949 .

Life

Götzl was born into a family of merchants and completed his apprenticeship in Linz . In 1912 he took over his parents' business and did his military service in World War I from 1914, after which he did not return from Soviet captivity until 1920.

politics

Götzl was a founding member of the business leaders and chairman of the trade section in the Chamber of Commerce for Lower Austria. Between December 12, 1945 and November 5, 1949, he represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
