Ousanas
Ousanas was a king of Aksum who ruled around AD 325.
Ousanas is only known from its coins, some of which were found in India and testify to the extensive trade relations of the time.
In Ethiopian tradition a king "Ella Allada" or Ella Amida appears , to whom the apostle Frumentius came. It has been suggested that Ousanas is identical to this king. Finally, there is an inscription from Eritrea that belongs to a Sembrouthes. This ruler was also identified with Ousanas. According to this inscription, he ruled for at least 27 years.
