Overbeek gold medal
The Overbeek Gold Medal (Overbeek Gold Medal) is an award given annually since 2005 for colloid science and science of interfaces by the European Colloid & Interface Society (ECIS).
It is named in honor of the colloid scientist Theodor Overbeek (1911–2007). Overbeek was also the first recipient of the award.
