Friedrich August Moschütz
Friedrich August Moschütz (* around 1805 in Luckau , Niederlausitz , Kingdom of Saxony ; † after 1869 ) was a German organ builder in Herzberg in Niederlausitz.
Life
He was a student and journeyman of Carl Friedrich Beyer in Naumburg. In 1834 Friedrich August Moschütz received citizenship of the city of Herzberg as an organ builder. He is known to have worked on organs between 1835 and 1869.
The son Hermann Moschütz was a pupil of Ernst Wiegand in Borna around 1859. There is only one known repair offer from him in Lindow.

12 new organs by Friedrich August Moschütz are known in Niederlausitz , Fläming and what was then the province of Saxony , as well as conversions, repairs and implementation. Some works have been preserved.
