Oxide & Neutrino
Oxide & Neutrino is the joint music project of British DJ Alex Rivers (Oxide) and rapper Mark Oseitutu (Neutrino).
Career
The two musicians met on a pirate station in London . In April 2000, the duo's debut single was released under the title Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty) . The track contains samples of the theme song from the BBC hospital series Casualty . Oxide & Neutrino combined breakbeats with rap parts and electronic music and revolutionized the previous sound of the British garage house .
The single immediately hit number one on the UK charts. The debut album Execute , released a short time later, was also a success.
In 2001 the two joined the garage collective So Solid Crew . A second album was released in October 2002.
