Ozza Mons

The Ozza Mons - Latin for mountain of the Ozza , after a Persian goddess worshiped by the Koreischites - is a shield volcano on Venus .

The volcano mountain is 507 kilometers wide. Its height is about six kilometers. It is located at 4.5 ° north latitude and 201 ° east longitude. Coordinates: 5 °  N , 159 °  W in the Atla Regio . Its solidified lava flows lie south of the mountain and their “sphere of activity” extends over around 300 kilometers. As with all volcanoes on Venus, there are no observed eruptions.
