PDV 122
The PDV 122 - Use of water cannons and water fittings is a police service regulation in the Federal Republic of Germany . It contains regulations on the use of water cannons .
As a follow-up to a large demonstration at the Gorleben interim camp on September 4, 1982, in which water cannons 6000 vehicles were used against the demonstrators, it was the subject of a constitutional complaint (decision of December 7, 1998, AZ 1 BvR 831/89)
According to section 5.1.3. care must be taken that "heads are not hit".
