Overview
PM2, or Process Manager 2, is an open source production manager for Node.js that helps developers and devops manage Node.js applications in the production environment . Compared to other process managers like Supervisord, Forever or Systemd , PM2 can be compared with the automatic load balancing of the applications, the declarative application configuration, the provisioning system and the monitoring.
The project was started in 2013 by Alexandre Strzelewicz, the code source is hosted on GitHub and it can be installed via Npm as well as with additional repositories (in other operating systems).
