Pablo Delavan

Pablo T. Delavan was an astronomer at the La Plata Observatory.

On October 27, 1913, he discovered the Comet Delavan named after him , which alternately bears the designation 1913f and 1914V.

This comet flew through the inner solar system in 1914 and was one of the brightest comets ever. It will only be visible again in 24 million years.
