Packard (font)
Packard and Packard Bold are two fonts designed by Oswald Cooper . They were specially developed for the US automobile manufacturer Packard Motor Car Company in Detroit , Michigan .
Packard and Packard Bold were used in the company's publications and in-house newspaper The Packard .
Origin and application
Oswald Cooper developed the two fonts in 1913. It was used for an undisclosed period in the Packard Motor Car Company's publications, in the Packard's in-house newspaper, and later in the Packard Automobile Classics ' organ , The Packard Cormorant . The latter is the only known current use.
