Picking slip

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pick list (also pick list or packing slip , in Switzerland setup list ; of English pick for Select) are used in companies with large and extensive inventory to the package contents for shipping together. In this case, packing is done like a typical transfer slip .

In addition to a delivery note - this indicates which goods are to be delivered - and the invoice - indicates which goods must be paid for - a "picking slip" is created on which the warehouse worker lists which goods are in which warehouse at which location (Shelf, rack, etc.) are in stock and must be included in the package from there. When using barcode scanners, the barcode of the corresponding item is also on the picking slip.
