The Pakistan Museum of Natural History is a museum in Islamabad , the capital of Pakistan .

The museum was founded in 1976. Located on Garden Avenue in the Shakar Parian neighborhood, it is home to exhibitions and galleries on the ecology, geology, and paleontology of Pakistan. There are over 300,000 objects in the museum. It also functions as a research center and works closely with the Lok Virsa Museum . It is administered by the Pakistan Science Foundation , which is under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
