Palácio Lima Mayer

The Palácio Lima Mayer is a former city palace in the municipality of Santo António in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon .

It was built in 1901 based on designs by the Italian architect Nicola Bigaglia in a prominent urban corner location at the confluence of Rua do Saltire and Avenida da Liberdade . The client was Adolfo de Lima Mayer. Bigaglia was awarded the first Prémio Valmor for his work in 1902 .

From the 1920s, the Parque Mayer amusement park with four theaters was built in the palace garden . Today the Spanish consulate is located in the palace.
