Palacio de Viana

The Palacio de Viana is a large palace with over 100 rooms, 12 courtyards and a garden in the Andalusian city of Córdoba . It is located in the northern part of the old town at Pl. Don Gome 2. The palace was expanded and used over generations by the Marquis of Viana. The approximately 6500 square meter ensemble contains areas that were created over five centuries, from the 15th to the 20th century. Large parts of it are open to the public as a museum and, in addition to contemporary furniture in the oldest parts of the building, especially garden art in the courtyards. In 1980 it was declared a National Monument of Historical and Artistic Interest and in 1983 it was also declared an Art History Garden.
