The Palais Wassilko von Serecki was the residence of the noble family Wassilko von Serecki in Chernivtsi , the capital of Bukovina . It is located in the former Herrengasse 34, today's Kobylianskastraße.

history

The Herrengasse in Czernowitz was, as its name describes, a representative street with aristocratic town houses and buildings of the upper social classes. The city palace was built in 1886 and was the city residence of the count family. The palace was owned by the family until after the Second World War . Today it is a listed building.

The building has two floors. Above the main gate in the middle there is a balcony with three window axes with a cast iron railing. There are a total of eight windows facing the street on each floor. The design is classic. Over time, the facade color changed between yellow and blue with decorative elements set off in white.

The gate leads to an inner courtyard and garden.

The neighboring building No. 32 belonged to the palace and is also a listed building.
