particularities

The marble hall

Cercul Militar Național was previously only allowed to be entered by the highest-ranking officers of the Romanian army. This regulation was lifted so that residents and tourists can now visit the building. Another special feature is the splendid interior, which is partly clad with gold wall paneling and elegant figures . The inner hall is only used for special occasions and festivities, while the outer area is freely accessible. Outside there is also seating.

Building structure and architecture

The entire building was built in the neo-renaissance style. In the outer forecourt there are two fountains and a staircase that leads to the higher plateau in front of the entrance.
