The Palazzo Arcivescovile (Archbishop's Palace) of Palermo is the seat of the Archbishop of Palermo . The seminar and the diocesan museum are also housed in the extensive building complex . The palace is located on the corner of Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Matteo Bonello opposite the forecourt of Palermo Cathedral , i.e. between the cathedral and the Norman Palace .

In the Middle Ages , the bishop's palace was next to the apses of the cathedral . In the 15th century, the palazzo was rebuilt at its current location. In the second half of the 18th century, the Archbishop's Palace was combined with the seminar building built in the 16th century on Piazza Vittoria into a single building.

The main portal and a window divided into three by two columns are still preserved from the 15th century. The exterior of the palazzo was changed several times between the 16th and 18th centuries.
