Pamporowo ( Bulgarian Пампорово ) is a winter sports resort in the Bulgarian Rhodope Mountains and has a bed capacity of 7500 beds.

Pamporowo is located at an altitude of 1650 m in the Central Rhodopes , at the foot of the Snezhanka (mountain) peak (Bulgarian Снежанка; 1926 m) in the Smolyan Oblast , Chepelare municipality. Pamporovo is located 160 km southeast of the capital Sofia , 50 km south of Plovdiv , 8 km north of Smolyan and 8 km south of Chepelare .

The resort was created in 1933 northwest of the Snezhanka peak. The winters are mild here. The year has 270 sunny days. The mean annual temperature is 8 ° C.

Pamporovo is mainly visited by tourists in winter. The season lasts from December to the end of April, 150 days of snow. Almost all ski slopes in the tourist resort start at the Sneschanke summit. The ski slopes are at an altitude of 1925 to 1400 m and have a total length of 18 km. The ski lifts have a capacity of 7,000 people per hour.

The Snezhanka Summit is one of the 100 national tourist objects of Bulgaria.
