Panoramahaus Dornbirn

The Panoramahaus Dornbirn is 49 meters in height the tallest commercial building in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg . It is located in Dornbirn , the largest city in the country, in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition park , the Dornbirn exhibition grounds and the Dornbirn-Süd motorway exit ( A14 ).

The Austrian architect Bernhardügelmayer planned the elliptical structure in summer 2002. After more than 23 months of construction, the building was finally completed in September 2005. The developer was Messepark Gesellschaft, which ultimately handed over management of the building to Panoramahaus Hotel- und Gesundheitszentrum Betriebs GmbH & Co KG .

At a cost of 50 million euros, a 13-storey building was built on a 8,232 m² site. This new building houses a Four Points by Sheraton hotel and the Home of Balance fitness and wellness facility.
