Park Soo-nam

Park Soo-nam ( 9th Dan ) was President of the German Taekwondo Union from October 2012 to February 2016 and has been the owner of Park Verlag since 1992. As such, he is editor of Taekwondo Aktuell magazine . Since 1978 he has been running the Stuttgart Taekwondo school "Sportschule Park".

Park Soo-nam attended Konkuk University as a student, which has campuses in Seoul and Chungju . He left the university in 1970 with a diploma in "Agricultural Studies".

In 1969 he became Korean Taekwondo Master . From 1971 to 1976 he ran the "Park's Gym" in Seoul.

Work as an international Taekwondo trainer

From 1975 to 1985 he was the German national coach. From 1986 to 1987 he was national coach of Austria, only to become German national coach again in 1988. In this role he looked after the German team at the 1988 Olympic Games. He ended his work as national coach in 1989.
