The Parkview Field is a baseball - Stadium in the American US city of Fort Wayne in the state of Indiana . It is the home of the minor league baseball team Fort Wayne TinCaps , a single-A farm team for the San Diego Padres that plays in the Midwest League . It was inaugurated on April 16, 2009. It was built as part of a Hanover Square revitalization project in downtown Fort Wayne, which also included the construction of a hotel and convention center, a theater and several residential buildings.
