Partido Patriota

The Partido Patriota ( PP ; German Patriotic Party ) was a political party in Guatemala .

In the elections on November 9, 2003, the PP belonged to the Gran Alianza Nacional ( Great National Alliance ), which won 24.3% of the vote and 47 of the 158 seats in parliament. The presidential candidate of the alliance Óscar Berger Perdomo initially won 34.3% in the elections that took place on the same day. He was elected with 54.1% in a second election round.

In the 2007 elections Otto Pérez Molina ran for the PP, but was defeated in a runoff on November 4, 2007.

The party was dissolved by a court order in January 2017.
