Brīvība. Brīvs no bailēm, naida un dusmām
Brīvība. Brīvs no bailēm, naida un dusmām, abbreviated BBBND ( German freedom. Free from fear, hatred and anger ), colloquially also " Über Mutterpartei " ( Lithuanian Virsmātes partija ) is a political party founded in 2011 in Latvia . Candidate September 2011.
The initiator of the founding of the party on July 24, 2011 was the healer Anita Puķaleva aka "Übermother" (Lat. Virsmāte ), who lives in Ventspils . The founding congress took place in Ventspils on a meadow next to Puķaleva's house. However, she is not a party member herself.
For the elections for the 11th Saeima 2011 a list of 27 candidates for 3 of the 5 Latvian electoral districts was submitted. The top candidates are Anrijs Aumalis (former director of the “Cēsu alus” brewery), Ieva Kantmane (economics director at Ventspils University) and Dace Brimerberga (customs expert at the state tax office). The party will also run again in the 2014 parliamentary elections.
Party platform
The following positions are represented in the party program:
The state has only two functions: 1.) To provide for those who cannot do this themselves and 2.) To give the possibility to those who can provide for themselves.
- The president should be elected by the people in direct elections. Members of parliament should only be able to occupy state offices for two legislative periods and be deposed by their voters during their term of office.
- The state language should be Latvian. All ethnic minorities should be free to found their own schools and associations. Everyone who was born in Latvia after August 21, 1991 should automatically be granted citizenship.
- The number of civil servants and ministers is to be minimized. All government employees should be able to be held personally liable for events in their area.
- The party promises to build strong and honest border guards and raise salaries for state employees.
- The state should have a stronger influence on the physical and mental development of young people.
