The Passeir mountain goat is a robust, small-framed and horned goat breed that comes in many color combinations and color characteristics. There are the colors “monochrome”, “gansit” (light-dark coat color) and “stroolit” (ray drawing on the head) as well as the colors or shades of “bloob” (gray-bluish), “roat” (reddish), “geel” "(Yellowish)," pråntlt "(dark brown)," griislt "(gray-brown)," burns "(beige), black and" liecht "(white). Short-haired animals with a beard and "mengiler" (pairs of skin folds on the neck) are preferred for breeding.
