Pass (juggling)

Passing is when several jugglers throw each other juggling items at a certain beat - clubs are the most popular .

So two jugglers can face each other and after a certain number of “self throws” (from the English “self” : I myself) (in the simplest pattern 3) throw an object at the same time. In this case, the rhythm is constant - the partners basically juggle a cascade and throw every fourth object to each other . This is why this pattern is also called "4-count".

The principle is based on the fact that when throwing a pass one throws an object (instead of into the other hand) at the passing partner and in return receives an object from the partner. You can also throw the pass to different people alternately and combine as many passports as you like. In addition, more complicated rhythms with time shifts are possible, as well as more demanding throws and tricks . So you can also fit large patterns, whereby the whole thing is more and more error-prone, but is a lot of fun.

Above all, fitting is something for jugglers who do not practice alone for hours, but want to be active together with others.

New patterns can be learned especially at juggling conventions.
