Paternoster camp

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A paternoster storage (PNL) (also: storage paternoster, vertical revolving rack) is a powerful and compact revolving storage system based on the principle of the paternoster elevator . The system offers the advantage of a relatively small footprint that makes optimal use of the existing room height. Vertical shelves, which are guided by the system to one or more removal openings on the side, ensure the efficient and fast provision of the stored goods.

Cabinets work according to the same principle to hold boxes with small parts in rows or, in the case of office paternosters, for filing boxes or hanging files .

Metal frames in the manner of a paternoster tower are used to store long material up to 6 m in length or rolls of floor coverings with a length of 2 to 5 m. Set up in the sales room, the materials can be moved to the front and also unrolled.

A floor paternoster can serve several building levels , e.g. for storage and shipping. A silo paternoster can also fill horizontally extended storage space with additional horizontal guidance via straight and loop-shaped rails.
