Pavel Rödl

Pavel Rödl (born November 29, 1959 ) is a regional politician in the Czech Republic .

In 1991 he joined the ODS and was for many years the mayor of the Pilsen 4 - Doubravka district. From 2000 to 2002 he was Deputy Mayor of Pilsen under Jiří Šneberger, responsible for culture and public services. In the 2006-2010 electoral term, he was Pilsen's Lord Mayor. In 2008 he ran for the ODS as list leader in the regional elections . He left the ODS in August 2010 and joined the liberal-conservative party OBČANÉ.CZ as a party member. For this group he has been a member of the Pilsen City Council since November 2010.

Rödl holds a degree in civil engineering from the Czech Technical University .
