Peeker

Peeker was a German computer magazine for the Apple II computer. The main topic of the magazine was programs for the Apple II. The magazine title is based on the command PEEK . Most of Peeker's articles described a program that was either an application, a utility for the computer, or, rarely, a game. As a rule, the exact functionality of the respective programs was described. The booklets contained u. a. also programming courses and hardware tips. Most of the programs were published on collective disks that could be purchased. In the later editions, program code was also published directly in the magazine.

The magazine was first published in September 1984 by Ulrich Stiehl at Hüthig-Verlag . The magazine was published monthly, the last issue appeared in March 1987. A total of 28 issues were produced.
