Pembina Institute

The Pembina Institute is a Canadian non-profit think tank that aims to develop innovative and sustainable energy supply technologies. The institute was founded in 1985 in Drayton Valley, Alberta, where it is still based today.

It has offices in Calgary , Drayton Valley , Edmonton , Ottawa , Toronto , Vancouver and Yellowknife .

The vision is a world in which future energy needs will be satisfied in a way without harming the earth's ecosystems. In doing so, damage to the air, soil and water as well as dangerous climate changes should be avoided.
