Pentti Ahola (musician)

Pentti Ahola (born January 11, 1929 in Helsinki ; † June 30, 2012 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish jazz pianist (also accordion ).

Live and act

Pentti Ahola played in the Manu Teittinen Ensemble as well as with his own trio ( Pentti Aholan Yhtye , with Hannu Jokinen and Manu Teittinen) and quintet (“ Flying Home ”). In 1963 he worked as a musician in the television film Marie Octobre (director: Sirppa Sivori-Asp). In the field of jazz he was involved in five recording sessions between 1952 and 1968.
