People's Liberation Army of Manipur

The People's Liberation Army of Manipur , often abbreviated as the People's Liberation Army ( PLA ), was founded on September 25, 1978 by N. Bisheshwar Singh. It is a separatist revolutionary armed group fighting for an independent, socialist state of Manipur .

Since its inception, the PLA has waged a guerrilla war against the Indian armed forces.
